L03 understand the dynamics of working with others

Task3

Task 3.1
3.1.1. What is team?
A group of people with different skills and different tasks, who work together on a common
project, service, or goal, with a meshing of functions and mutual support. And team is made
up of two or more people who work together to achieve a common goal. Teams offer an
alternative to a vertical chain-of-command and are a much more inclusive approach to
business organization. Teams are becoming more common in the business world today.
Effective teams can lead to increased employee motivation and business productivity. A team
is different from an ordinary work group. Group works are mainly for members to share
information and make decisions so that each member can achieve his or her individual work
goals. Groups is part of everyday life and many of us will belong to a wide range of groups,
for example: family groups, social groups, sports groups, committees, etc. (study.com, 2016).
Teamwork is generally understood as the willingness of a group of people to work together
to achieve a common aim. But teamwork is not exclusive to teams. For example, you can
see evidence of teamwork in a committee, which might not necessarily see itself as a team.
(Authors view).
With real teamwork we tend to see positive attitudes and behaviours such as:

 Trust in colleagues to deliver what they promise

 Willingness to help when needed
 Sharing of a common vision of the future
 Co-operation and blending of each other’s’ strengths
 Positive attitudes, providing support and encouragement
 Active listening
 All members pulling their weight and in the same direction
 Giving the benefit of the doubt
 Consensus building
 Effective conflict resolution
 Open communication (The-happy-manager.com2016).

 Making the workplace more enjoyable
 Motivating a team
 Getting everyone onto the same place, including goal setting
 Helping participants to learn more about themselves (strengths & weaknesses)
 Identifying and utilizing the strengths of team members
 Practicing effective collaboration with team members (knowhownonprofit.org, 2015)

Afar interview the librarian to having brief knowledge on current library system aske some
question about how we need to design our library kanishker get librarian permission for take
some photos and he take photos and he draw our current Bcas library plan . After observing
the library we came to a conclusion with how we need to make new design structure our new

Task 3.2
Alternative ways to complete task and achieved team goals.
When come to our group activities we are faced some problems for example: in activity one
we are faced time management problems but we shaped that one and we are not getting
any good group photos for avidness. In group activity two also we faced time management
problem we create our plane in last minute.
To solving these problems I found some alternatives ways for complete our team work
success

1. share work with in our group members

in our group works we are not given one important works through the group members every
members are done the every works for example in our activity one we give cutting works for
one person and all time he need to wrote the our product stretcher also. For that we are
lacked in our time management.
How we are share the work within group members
In our activity one we are having cutting, pasting, planning, finishing and etc.

 The person who have interest in cutting or pasting give that work for that person
 Given making stretcher work for idea given person
 Given most hard work of most active person
If we share our work like this we can done our work perfectly (Authors view)
2. Doing practical before done the work
Before done the work select one day and do practical through the our product if done the
practical we can do our work that time easily and we can found which part is taken long time
to our complete work and we can put extra one person for that work.
Practical is give good knowledge for us and it will helped us to how we need to manage our
time (Authors view).

3. Getting good organization before done the work.

When we start any group work we need to good organization. And how the group will work
and communicate together. Some of the organizing activities may include deciding team
meeting days and venues, Keep focused by having a list of tasks or issues to cover in each
meeting, End by summarizing what was agreed on in the meeting & effective ways of
keeping in touch with the members for example whatsapp and Facebook We were organized
by social media but not p\by physical meetings (Authors view).

4. Provide some class time for meetings

“It is very hard for students to orchestrate their schedules. Part of what they need to be
taught about group work is the importance of coming to meetings with an agenda some

67 | P a g e
Mohamed shaik CSD 52 CSD/16/52/13
Employability and professional Development
expectation about what needs to get done. They also need to know that significant amounts
of work can be done in short periods of time, provided the group knows what needs to be
done next. Working online is also increasingly an option, but being able to convene even
briefly in class gives groups the chance to touch base and get organized for the next
steps.”(facultyfocus.com).

According to Honey and Alan Mumford Learning Style, my own learning style is reflector.

Books are read for various reasons to pass one’s leisure time, to acquire knowledge, to extract
information. Books are also read to acquire immense pleasure from the act of reading itself.

Reading makes us conscious and global citizens. In this age of globalization remaining
confined to one’s own world & environment will limit one’s possibilities. But through books
written by acclaimed writers we can cross geographical and cultural boundaries and become
a part of the global village. Reading poetry and reading them aloud will increase our
imagination and develop in us an understanding and appreciation of beauty. Reading is also
an important means of public opinion which is one of the pillars of democracy (Darshan Kadu,
2016).
If we read more and more we can found more and more information about our life and our
future.

 Tablets  Blogs
 Notebooks  SMS
 Laptops  e-Mail
 Computers  online images
 Internet  online videos
 Books
 E-books
 Newspapers

As a HND student my most recommend reading tools are internet, e-books and journal
articles and most recommend reading methods is website.
01. Internet- There is so much that students can do with the Internet. Not only for
communicate and study internet is taken part in developing student reading ability also
with international students, they can gain from others' knowledge and experiences,
participate in chat rooms, share ideas and solutions and learn about the many diverse
cultures out there. While the Internet does a lot for students, there are also benefits for
parents and teachers. The interactive learning that the Internet provides can help
students and parents with little or no English skills to learn English. Parents can
become more involved in their children's education by connecting the school with
homes, libraries or other access ports. Internet having some special in reading facility
for example online library system internet having e-books system also because
internet is most recommend ways for best individual learning (iml.jou.ufl.edu,2016).

02. E-books- in the technology market eBooks be a new and more cost effective ways of
learning the pros of these interactive learning tools are vast as their availability. E-
books are available foe save time and waiting lines some e-books are having text to
speak readers it very use full for students. E-books are updating not like normal books
and e-books price are 50-60% less than the normal books. And those are very easy
for reading (authors view).

Figure 60 : e-books use in reading

03. Journal articles- The journal articles found in many scholarly journals go through a
"peer-review" process. In other words, the articles are checked by academics and
other experts. The information is therefore reliable. As well as containing scholarly
information, journal articles can include reports and reviews of current research and
topic specific information. We can use journal articles for our assignment research.
Articles and essays are given information about need subject experts, factual
documented information to reinforce a position or references lists that point you to
other relevant research. Scholarly journals take less time to publish than books, but
the peer-review process can be lengthy. And we doing more and more research
through journal article we can easily developed our reading ability and our knowledge
(libguides.library.cqu.edu.au, 2016).

information about current events, trends, and controversial topics. They may also
contain government publications such as reports, statistics, legislation and service
information; interviews, newspaper articles; research reports;
conference/workshop/symposium papers; maps and other types of resources. Those
are providing most importance details for our studies and assignment

When we feel the chapter is boring moving
to the interest chapter because most of the
time headache will start due to bore.
04. Not interested. Whether students are into adventures or
fantasy novels, there is a book series for
everyone. All you have to do is find out
what your students love and get them to
read the first selection. Once they get a
taste of the set, they will definitely want to
keep reading to find out what happens
next. If we done this methods definitely
students will show good interest.
05. I don’t find it effective. Student don’t know effective. Of the
reading Sometimes just knowing the facts
can encourage someone to see their world
differently. For example, knowing that
maintaining a healthy lifestyle may help us
live a longer life can motivate us to make
better life choices. Laying out the benefits
of reading may be the best way to enhance
appreciation and encourage them to pick
up a book on their own.

Task 4.3
In my survey report this are the problem I found.
 Didn’t practice from childhood.
 Waste of time and effort.
 Get headache.
 Not interested.
 I don’t find it effective.

Reading strategies for to make them interest.

1. To give some advice in this way” please give some home works for student in their
books ever day “if teachers give home works for a student. at that time compulsory
student need to read their book for doing their homework
2. Give some advice for student about reading tools and reading methods (internet ,
books , smart phones)
3. To create some games, programs, competitions about reading for example- spell
master. Easy writing competitions
4. Try to get shorts notes about every subjects. For that one student need to read all the
notes.
5. Allowing time in class for group and individual previewing and predicting activities as
preparation for in-class or out-of-class reading. Allocating class time to these activities
indicates their importance and value.
6. Using cloze (fill in the blank) exercises to review vocabulary items. This helps students
learn to guess meaning from context. It is really interest work for students.
