    OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY.

    The Present Study is based on secondary sources. Secondary data is collected from
    various Government of India Reports, RBI reports, Ministry of Agriculture reports, books,
    articles, and Economic Survey of India. In this background, the present study is to analyze the
    trends and pattern of agriculture growth and Production in India in specific the objectives are:

    1. To understand the concept of agricultural productivity in India.

    2. To study the significance of agricultural productivity.

    3. To study of the direction of agricultural productivity trends in five year plan.
