I am very happy to learn that Pathanamthitta District Association,
Kuwait, is conducting a cultural event on 25th February 2018.

As a Malayalee organisation functioning in the middle East, Pathan-

amthitta District Association Kuwait exists as a solace to the Indians,
those who are duped and cheated by illegal recruiting agencies. It
very pleasure to know that the association undertakes plenty of char-
itable activities in Pathanamthitta district too.
I extend my heartiest wishes to the programme and the souvenir
publishing in connection with the celebration.

Patron’s Message and Thoughts

“Love humans, for there is no greater virtue, no greater religion, than the love of humanity. Nurture and value
friendship, for there is no greater happiness, no greater enjoyment, no greater treasure than the love and
companionship of a good friend”.
On the significant occasion of the staging of Pathanamthitta District Association’s prestigious event “HRIDAYATHIL
SOOKSHIKKAN”, I extend my warm greetings to the members of the Association, people of Pathanamthitta District,
our well-wishers and supporters and the audience who will experience the enchanting moments of melody and
beauty.
Pathanamthitta District Association, which was formed in the year 2001 has gone from strength to strength to earn
a niche for itself in the social firmament of Kuwait and an enviable reputation as a well-meaning purposeful social
organization. Community organizations, whether social, cultural, sports or arts have been playing a vital role in the
life and well being of the expatriate community in Kuwait. Pathanamthitta District Association has succeeded in
performing its role admirably during the past 18 years of its existence as an exponent of the traditional values and
rich cultural heritage of the country and as a vibrant and caring organization in the forefront of social welfare and
humanitarian services.
As a person who has been with the Association in various capacities since its formation till this day, I can honestly
say that Pathanamthitta District Association has always endeavored to embody a culture of quality and high moral
values imbibed from the virtues of honesty, truthfulness, love and compassion for humanity, equality, transparency
and personal integrity in all its norms, practices, activities and services, which have helped the Association to earn
admiration, respect and credibility among its community as well as among the public in Kuwait and Kerala and
other community welfare organizations in Kuwait and greatly contributed to its sustainability and the success of its
activities.
“HRIDAYATHIL SOOKSHIKKAN”, as I understood, is being held as a mega event with the motive of enhancing the
capability of the Association to extend the scope and reach of Association’s services in its noble efforts underlining
the theme of “Love for humanity”.
My ardent hope is that Pathanamthitta District Association, which has been my life and soul all these years will
continue to and flourish as a strong socio-cultural organization in Kuwait retaining its good culture and values,
credibility and reputation, fostering friendship and unity among its members and community and brightening human
lives.
On this occasion, I gratefully acknowledge the role and services of Association Founder Members and its past
Executive Committee Members and tearfully reminisce my unfortunate friends who are no longer in this world, A.M.
Mathewkutty (Founder Member and former President), Bose Zachariah and M.G. James (both Founder Members
and Executive Committee Members), who have been with me in the establishment of the Association and in its grow-
ing years and who all have contributed heavily and sincerely in and the implementation and success of Association’s
ideals and objectives and the success of all its programs and events.
I would also like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation and congratulations to the President
Sri. K. Jayakumar, General Secretary Sri. Muralee S. Panicker, Conveners and all other Office Bearers as well
as Executive Committee Members of the Association, who have worked hard unitedly, efficiently and sincerely for
organizing and holding the mega event “HRIDAYATHIL SOOKSHIKKAN” and for their dedication and commitment
for the success of the event. I am happy that the Association is in safe hands.

My Love and warm regards to all.
