Past Tense Vs.

Present Perfect

PRESENT PERFECT – used to talk about actions or


events that are linked to the present or which are
repeated up to the present.

It is often used with adverbials such as: just,


already, (not) yet, ever, never, so far, till now, up till
now, for …, since …, etc.
