1 The governance of the institution is reflective of an effective leadership in tune with


the vision and mission of the institution

Vision
To be an academic centre to impart higher education to the students coming with rural
background and imbibe amongst them the social, ethical, moral and human values that would
help them nurture in them the high qualities and be useful to the society in which they live.

Mission
Provide a strong edifice for imparting quality education to the rural and economically backward
students through effective method of teaching by engaging the suitable faculty and thereby
contributing to achieve the national of taking higher education to the doors of rural masses.

Nature of Governance
An effective system of education is being provided to the students in our college under the
guidance and leadership of our principal. There are heads of the departments for all the
departments to look after the work of their respective departments. The authority of principal
is decentralized among all head of the departments. The institution practices decentralized and
participatory management system of governance to expedite decision making and provide
quality service to all the stake holders. The college development committee consisting of
honorable member of legislative assembly, president of gram panchayat and some other local
leaders and the parents of some students. The college development committee (CDC) will meet
twice or thrice in a year to discuss some major academic activities.

The Institution translates the Vision and Mission through following methods:
 Higher education to rural students: as a part of Vision statement we cater to serve
rural community by giving preference to rural students of this region. Since, the
percentage of students taking up higher education is very less in rural community as
per AISHE survey. We give preference to promote admission to such students by
taking lesser fees and giving student scholarships.

 Values: to inculcate Social, Human, Moral and Ethical values curriculum is designed
in such a way which facilitates to nurture said value system among students.
 Methods of teaching and Qualified faculty: the college employs traditional method
of teaching blended with innovative teaching techniques such as ICT to realize the
goals of college mission, and classes handled by well qualified teaching faculties.

 National spirit: to promote higher education among rural community our college
strives to bring opportunities and create platforms to those students who can’t afford
huge fee and try to build up national spirit in the field of higher education to all.

 Support to students: Provide a strong edifice for imparting quality education to the
economically backward students through scholarships, free add on programs and value
added courses at free of cost for eligible students.

 Participative management: all the stakeholders of this college i.e, students, parents,
CDC members, teachers, non-teaching staff, local panchayat members etc., were
completely engaged while framing and deploying the strategies for the development
of college.
