• LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.

05O2 (LNCA) cathode material is successfully synthesized with the precursor

of Ni0.8Co0.15Al0.05(OH)2 (NCA) prepared by co-precipitation method. This method is
considered simple and results high homogenities solution. LiOH was added to this precursor
with a molar ratio of Li:M = 1.05:1. This experimental purposed is to find out influence of
adding NaCl. The effect salt added in the precursor on the NCA characteristic was deeply
investigated. We adding NaCl 1%, 3%, 5%, and 10% to LNCA. Optimum condition at 700oC
for 10 h exhibits the high degree of crystal. The crystal parameter were examined using X-Ray
Diffraction Characterization. LNCA with NaCl 3% added show the higher peak ratio and shows
the same XRD pattern with NCA commercial preferences.
