ADVERTISEMENT OF RESEARCH PROJECT FELLOW IN AN INDUSTRY FUNDED PROJECT AT BIONAC RESEARCH

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Research Project Fellow in an Industry Funded Project at BIONAC Research Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur.
 
Fellowship: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification: M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering.
 
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Title: Development of High Performance Elastomeric Nanocomposites
Overview: A systematic investigation will be carried out in this research project to introduce selective nanofillers and incorporate them within suitable elastomeric matrix or matrix blends towards developing high performance nanocomposites. Use of appropriate dispersion techniques along with
suitable additives will also be investigated. The developed elastomeric nanocomposites will be evaluated for microstructural features, mechanical and thermal properties, which in turn will assist in identifying the optimized material and process parameters.

Requirement: Candidates with sufficient understanding and experience of working with polymeric composites/elastomers/nanocomposites would be preferred.
 
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidate should send detailed CV with a cover letter to the principal and co- principal investigator through e-mail on or before 18th January, 2017.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through e-mail and will be called for interview (in person or through Skype) to be held at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
 
NOTE:
1. Position mentioned is purely temporary.
2. If performance of candidate not found satisfactory, position can be terminated with one month of prior notice.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
