Enlightened everything, big and small,

Mounts, oceans, trees, short and tall,

All are flourishing by the decree of Lord

The world is charged with the light of God,

Some breathe now, some in past

Future be present,-present will last,

His eternal, present, perpetual Rod,

The world is charged with the light of God,

His glory shines like ooz of oil,

And it brightens like shook foil,

All bow to Him, He is Lord,

Quran is charter, Muhammad Imam

Messenger, Apostles, all did pass,

Comparison to "The Last", tree and grass

Digging a trench, in broad daylight,

In "Tahajjud-Prayers", till late at night,

Followers He had, good and sincere,

Nobility, sympathy, had He mere,

God and Angels, glaze Muhammad,

How can we praise Muhammad,
The Fragrance of Madina
13

Redeem He will, from the Hell

The last day bristling with a thousand fears,

Before one God, man appears,

For helping, supporting,

To calm and forting,

None Comes before,

No good deed, in my store,

My kind Prophet, give me a "Sight"

Over, my all misery and plight,

He will grant us, intercession,

That's only in His Possession,

He will redeem, from the Hell,

Fire place, a bombastic shell,
The Fragrance of Madina

How lucky I am , Good my fate,

He will grant me, a proud estate,

Be appreciative to such a great Mustafa

Prophets, Apostles Came,

Shining Cool-flame,

I have poured
Now rest assured,

None is Mustafa,
Except Muhammad Mustafa

From Him, guidance, we get,

In a fix, we are yet,!

At this what a regret,

I feel a fret

O, Man, be appreciative to such a great mustafa,

Our factual and paradise mate Mustafa

What is my life, from "Him" far

His knowledge, a shoreless sea,

A perfect Allah's decree,

Believer's mind becomes, a fertile ground,

Surrounded by a "Light", all around,

This "Light" makes us slanted,

And all are enchanted,

His preaching, Just like flowing river,

On progress for ever,

What is my life, from "Him" far,

Mind and heart are on a war,

By His approximity, I do measure,

In all my pains, I feel pleasure
The Fragrance of Madina
17

At the imagination of Muhammad

As I think about Hell fire,

In perplexity, temperature goes higher,

Makes me, ponder over my attribution,

Tears role down, for my ablution,

At the imagination, Prophet Muhammad,

At the imagination, Prophet Muhammad,

I lose myself, it is true,

I get purgation, Pure is view,

Unknown secrets come to me,

Desires my all, seem bloomy,

At the imagination of Muhammad,

At the imagination of Muhammad,

Tolerant, Courageous, enduring all,

Suffered long and kind with all
The Fragrance of Madina
18

At the imagination of Muhammad,

At the imagination of Muhammad,

As I find myself, at His door,

I myself bow, low, from my core,

At the' imagination of Muhammad,

At the' imagination of Muhammad,

Let us move to Madina, set life routines,

For green future, there, precious means

At the imagination of Muhammad,

At the imagination of Muhammad,

On seeing my sins, I feel anon

The City of Muhammad, I might have gone

At the imagination of Muhammad,

At the imagination of Muhammad,

Sweet Prophet, true Muhammad

A woman blind to fact

Committed daily a bad act

Threw on Prophet, a baggage,

Full of filth, dirt and garbage,.

She continued bit by bit,

Till it became her habit,

Once He passes through the streets

No dirt, no filth, no one meets,

Finding not the woman, He was surprised,

She may be ill, as He surmised,

It was correct,
It was fact,
The Fragrance of Madina
20

Muhammad entered her house,

Neither she had kid, nor a spouse,

Perhaps you feel unwell,

Today, I get no bad smell,

At first, she much terrified,

Said He, Be clam and satisfied,

He cleared her cottage,

Gave her porridge,

Medicine, suckling, for some days,

She recovers, calls Muhammad and says,

I am ashamed, I was factually blind,

you are prophet true, you are kind,

It doesn't matter,
Do not be fetter,

I do so, for, I am Prophet of God

Aim at thy good, wish my lord,
The Fragrance of Madina
21

Embraced she Islam, As heard He,

Obedient, Loyal, sincere as she could be,

On her embracing Islam,

She, Praying for Khair-ul-Anam

Sadique and Amin Muhammad

Sadique and Amin Muhammad,

Noor-um-Mobeen Muhammad,

He was one with whom enemies lay

Their trusts freely and they say

Sadique and Amin Muhammad,

Noor-um-Mobeen Muhammad,

Keep on standing, for three days,

On His Promise, there He stays,

Sadque and Amin Muhammad,

Noor-um-Mobeen Muhammad,

Spoke He truth, to up and low,

This is obvious, as I trow,
The Fragrance of Madina

Makkah and Madina, a place of rest

Makkah and Madina, a place of rest,

Hills, cities all, Hermane are crest,

Four fifty miles stretched in between,

Kaaba is black, the tomb is green,

I wish to visit, I want to see,

I have been there, I again want to be,

After looking at Raoza, with my eye,

There and then, I am ready to die

Would that I were, a bird, to fly,

And a star, shining in sky,

To see thy city freely,

To visitate thy tomb clearly,

Visitating Madina, a man, I ever found,

To listen to him, I was bound,
The Fragrance of Madina
25

Then tears from eyes, I can not control,

I think, This is my final goal,

If Prophet's love is in your breast

Your grave will be, a place of rest,
The Fragrance of Madina
26

Nothing in the universe, beyond

His flight

His locks were just like shining night,

Nothing in the universe, beyond His flight,

When all people, set their hearts upon,

Awareness comes there, ignorance gone,

Taking down thy "Na'at" having a writ,

Chosen by angels, every word of it,

I take down "Na'at" in the gist of rose,

My body is far, my heart is close,

How I wrote this collection, you may ask,

Lost in view of Madina, very easy task.
The Fragrance of Madina
27

Offer Salam & Darood

Offer Salam and Darood

To Muhammad and Mahmood,

The leaves of tree

being keen and free,

Offer salam and Darood,

To Muhammad and Mahmood,

Some pebbles in the palm,

With peace and calm,

Offer salam and Darood,

To Muhammad and Mahmood,

Beasts and animals in forest,

In their den, taking a rest,

Offer salam and Darood

To Muhammad and Mahmood,
The Fragrance of Madina
28

All angels, as they fly,

Coming to ground, going to sky,

Offer salam and Darood,

To Muhammad and Mahmood,

When I leave Madina

As long as, my life and breath,

In your slavery, till my death,

The dust that thy shoes have tred,

That is the crown of my head,

I Wish to breathe in Madina air,

This is beautiful and very fair,

With Allah's glory, everything clad,

I am in Madina, I am glad,

Everything is there, unreplied,

Men and angels side-by-side,

Beautiful pillars, light and fair,

I sweep the floor, with my hair,

My beard is wet, with my tears,

I speak not high, in love, in fears,
The Fragrance of Madina
30

When I leave Madina, I am sad,

Everything looks me. rough and bad
The Fragrance of Madina
31

All were blessed with calm and rest

From the tops of Faran, the lights arise,

It makes earth shine, happy the skies,

Their rays spread, all around,

The birds uttered a cheerful sound,

The Holy kaaba was respectfully bowed,

To offer salute (Salami), it was allowed,

Allah vouchsafed sons, in the laps of mothers,

Scattered and quarrelling, became brothers,

The light of Prophecy, the fine and best,

All were blessed with calm and rest.
The Fragrance of Madina
32

The grief of Madina, is of my own

Muhammad tolerated pains wistfully,

performed His duty, listfully,

His life is factually, sunshine way,

It shines more day by day,

The light is here, darkness gone,

Cloak of His slavery, I will don,

To Him, my place, just a mole,

He lives there, in heart and soul,

What a taste, makes me repeat,

Sweet, sweet, very , very sweet,

As I forget, I feel sad,

His sweet memory, Makes me glad,

In thy meditation, I be still,

With many tears, my eyes fill,
The Fragrance of Madina
33

Mind questions, why? but no reply,

And comes tomb of Prophet, before my eye,

Do not worry, comrade, at my moan,

The grief of madina, is of my own.
The Fragrance of Madina
34

In mydream, alightful face

I hear a sudden cry of pain,

In heart and mind once again,

I smell a fragrance in the air,

Don't know, It comes from where,

Heart is begging for visitation aid,

To much opposed, I am not afraid,

In isolation, heart begins to weep,

Having some sobs, I get asleep,

In my dream, a lightful face,

Light spreading, place to place,

In Makkah, It fleshened, In Madina it dropped,

With its rays, the dirt was mopped,
The Fragrance of Madina
35

And it illuminated the universe,

Vivid, lucid and terse
The Fragrance of Madina
36

How could I forbid him, in this way

Woman said, O, Prophet here is my son,

He eats sugar loaf much and often,

Prophet advised her, to come next day,

Disclose I shall, a very good way,

Next day, she came with much pleasure,

So much so, I can not measure,\

Prophet advised the boy, eat not sugar loaf,

Advice is over, now go off

She said, why did not you advise the same,

Last day when I came,

Prophet said, sugar loaf, I ate that day,

How could I forbid him, in this way,
The Fragrance of Madina
37

In the night of Mearaj

Out of us all,
Thou, Allah does call,

In the night of Mearaj,

In the night of Mearaj,

I write, sometimes,
Many beautiful, ryhmes,

In the night of Mearaj,

In the night of Mearaj,

Prayers, vacant drain,

As I remember, gives me pain,

In the night of Mearaj,

In the night of Mearaj,

You opened sky lock,

Wearing a "Lighty" Cloak,
The Fragrance of Madina
38

In the night of Mearaj,

In the night of Mearaj,

In my heart, though you are

Abu Ayub Ansari (R.A) a lucky,

Poor man

Migrating to Madina, People came around,

Some were riding, some on ground,

Honour of hospitality, we shall get,

The rich were happy, the poor's regret,

Dwelling place! Prophet said, I shall entop,

At the door, my camel will stop,

Abu Ayub Ansari (R.A) a lucky, Poor man,

There stopped, the Prophet's van,

Knew he well, the status of him,

Feeling gladness, at the brim,

This is, I say, heavenly aid,

May we too get, such cooling shade,
