Overview of the Tour and Presentation


Magic & Venture Hive accommodated a tour of seven
students from the International College of the Cayman Islands in
Grand Cayman. The Students were taken on a tour of Miami-
Dade College’s MAGIC (Miami Animation & Gaming International
Complex). MAGIC is a part of the School of Engineering and
Technology at MDC, where students get hands-on training
towards an Associate in Science Degree in Computer
Programming and Analysis, Animation Game Art and Film
Making.
The visiting students were referred to the MBDA Export
Center by Fr. Horace Ward, Rector of Holy Family Episcopal
Church in Miami Gardens, Florida. They received information on
how Venture Hive works with businesses in 55 countries with a
strong focus on the Caribbean and the Americas, to virtually
develop their business ideas from concepts to marketable
products, at no cost to start-ups firms.
Venture Hive receives funding from the U.S. Department
of State, the World Bank, Microsoft, and other major corporate
partners that help to underwrite the cost of their services. A
major goal is to encourage businesses to utilize Miami as a Hub
for their Technological endeavors.
