ABSTRAK

DYAH INDRASWATI: Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe


Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Pelajaran
Ekonomi Siswa Kelas X di SMA N 1 Sentolo, Kulon Progo. Tesis. Yogyakarta:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model


pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) terhadap: (1)
kompetensi sikap siswa, (2) kompetensi pengetahuan siswa, dan (3) kompetensi
keterampilan siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi di kelas X di SMA N 1 Sentolo,
Kulon Progo
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain
pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh
siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Sentolo pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2014/2015
yang berjumlah 160 siswa. Teknik simple random sampling dilakukan untuk
menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas
eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran
kooperatif tipe NHT sedangkan kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol diberi
perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Pengumpulan data
menggunakan tes, penilaian diri dan penilaian antar teman serta lembar
pengamatan diskusi dan presentasi. Uji validitas untuk ketiga instrumen
menggunakan expert judgment, ditambah analisis butir soal untuk kompetensi
pengetahuan, serta analisis rho spearman untuk kompetensi sikap. Uji reliabilitas
menggunakan formula alpha. Uji analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji
normalitas, uji homogenitas, normalized gain, paired t-test, independent t-test dan
Manova. Taraf signifikansi yang digunakan 0,05.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif
tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif terhadap kompetensi sikap siswa,
(2) model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif
terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan siswa, (3) model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe
Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif terhadap kompetensi keterampilan
siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi di kelas X di SMA N 1 Sentolo.

ABSTRACT

DYAH INDRASWATI: The Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Model


Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type on the Tenth Grade Student’s
Achievement in Economics Subject of SMA N 1 Sentolo, Kulon Progo. Thesis.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning


model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type on the competence of: (1) student’s
attitudes, (2) student’s knowledge, and (3) student’s skills in Economics subject,
tenth grade, of SMA N 1 Sentolo, Kulon Progo.
The type of this research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-
posttest control group design. The population in this research was all the students
in the tenth grade of SMA N 1 Sentolo during the second semester, school year
2014/2015 that consisted of 160 students. The simple random sampling technique
was conducted to determine the experimental and control classes. The tenth grade
MIA 1 was the experimental class that was treated by using the cooperative
learning model NHT while the tenth grade MIA 3 was the control class that was
treated by using lecture and discussion methods. The technique of data collection
used was test, self-assessment, peer assessment and observation sheet of
discussion and presentation. The validity test for the three instruments was
performed using the expert judgment, plus item analysis for the knowledge
competency as well as spearman’s rho analysis for the attitude competency. The
reliability test used the alpha formula. The analysis test was performed using the
normality test, the homogeneity test, the normalized gain, the paired t-test, the
independent t-test and Manova. The significance level used was 0,05.
The research finding reveals that: (1) the cooperative learning model
Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is effective on the competence of student’s
attitudes, (2) the cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is
effective on the competence of the student’s knowledge, (3) the cooperative
learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is effective on the competence
of student’s skills in Economics subject of SMA N 1 Sentolo.
