Building Burglary
n Rosendo Zavala told police
at noon on Sunday he was
watching a relative’s home in
the 300 block of West Bean
Street. Zavala said he placed
a lock on a storage shed on
the property at 3 p.m. on
Saturday. He said when he
returned at 11:57 a.m. on
Sunday, he found the lock
had been cut and several
tools stolen from the shed,
including a 23-piece Crafts-
man socket set, valued at
$25; a 180-piece Craftsman
socket set, valued at $200; a
Craftsman 10-piece ratchet
set, valued at $50; and a
Craftsman chain saw, valued
at $200.
Criminal Mischief
n Christian Gallegos, a resi-
dent of the 500 block of Quail
Creek, told police at 10:04 p.m.
on Nov. 28 someone broke
the rear window of his 2008
Chevrolet pickup, causing an
estimated $300 damage, while
the truck was parked outside
the Movies 8 theater at Plaza
Del Sol Mall, 2205 Veterans
Blvd. Gallegos told police
he believed the window was
broken between 7:30 p.m. and
8:45 p.m. on Nov. 28.
Rosa Esquivel, a resident of
the 300 block of East Garza
Street, told police at 5:18
p.m. on Thursday she heard
a loud crash outside her
home at 4:43 p.m. Thursday.
Esquivel said when she went
outside to investigate, she
found someone had broken
rear window of her Dodge
Durango, causing an esti-
mated $300 damage.
n Juliet Gomez, a resident
of the 400 block of East
Chapoy Street, told police
at 4:57 p.m. on Thursday

mez told police she believed
the window was broken
between 3:30 p.m. and 4:45
p.m. on Thursday.
n Maximo Herrada, a

East Bean Street, told police
at 7:21 p.m. on Thursday

was parked outside his
home. Herrada told police he
believed the damage to the
window was done using a
BB gun. He said he be-
lieved the damage occurred
between 4:30 p.m. and 7:21
p.m. on Thursday.
n Sandra Solis, a resident
of the 700 block of Vitela
Street, told police at 11:20
p.m. on Nov. 27 someone
“keyed” the right side of
her 2016 Hyundai Elantra,
causing an estimated $500
damage, while the vehicle
was parked outside her
residence. Solis said she
believed the damage to her
vehicle occurred between 4
p.m. on Nov. 13 and 4 p.m.
on Nov. 27.
Theft
n Guadalupe Villa, an em-
ployee of Hunter Industries
of San Marcos, told police
at 3:58 p.m. on Nov. 27 the
company had placed traffic
control equipment in a va-
cant lot near the intersection
of East De La Rosa Street
and Dr. Fermin Calderon
Boulevard. Villa said some-
one stole six 8-foot tempo-
rary rumble strips, valued at
$1,500 each. Villa told police
he believed the strips were
stolen between Nov. 17 and
the time he called police on
