Rating Scale
For the purposes of consistency, the same rating scales are used throughout the
EAQual system.
The rating gives the opportunity for the individual and the appraiser to assess
performance during the review period against set ratings. It is important to
acknowledge that this is not a comparison between different individuals but
what one would expect of the individual aligned within their role and
responsibilities in the business unit.
The appraisers and mangers must not wait until the appraisal period to inform
an individual that their performance is below expected standards.
