LS 1.3 Where Are You?

Able to listen to and circle the  Sets of 4 picture cards
correct places.

Assessment: -
Task Procedures:
1. Randomly, paste the pictures of places on the board.
2. Ask pupils to recall the name of the places. Elicit response from pupils. ‘Is it correct?’
3. Write the question ‘where are you?’ and the answer ‘I am at the ______________’
under the pictures on the board.
‘Where are you? I am at the the ________________.
‘What can you see at the ___________? I can see _______________ at the ___________.
4. Teacher asks the question to the pupils, and the pupils are to answer using the phrase
written under the pictures. Repeat the steps for all the pictures.
5. Inform pupils that they are going to play a game called ‘Where Are You?’.
‘We are going to play “Where Are You?’
6. Model task to pupils.
a. Ask 4 pupils to come in front. Give three of them a picture card each.
b. Another pupil will ask the question ‘Where are you?’ and ‘What can you see
at the _________? to the other pupils in the group until all members answer the
question based on the picture card they are holding.
c. After the first round is done, the group members rotate the picture cards.
d. Repeat step ‘c’ and ‘d’ until everybody in the group get the chance to ask
the question.

7. Get pupils to sit in groups of 4. Distribute the sets of picture cards to the groups.
8. Start the game. ‘Let’s start!’
Move around to monitor the pupils as you check the answers given by the pupils.
