To Whom It May Concern:

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching, and getting to know, Liliana Hernandez these past
three years at El Capitan High School. I’ve had the opportunity to observe how Liliana handles
herself on and off the court. She has been a team capitan these past two years and has
become a great leader. She pushes her teammates to be better players every day she steps on
the court. She's a model student a model human being. Liliana is respectful, hardworking, and
very trustworthy.

Liliana is a Senior and will graduate in 2018. She has maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. all four
years she has been at El Capitan High School, and currently is maintaining a 4.2 G.P.A. Liliana
will become a proud first generation college student, and has applied to many of the top schools
around California where she plans to work on becoming a Registered Nurse. She has
participated in basketball three straight years after participating in soccer her freshmen year.
Her accomplishments range from Academic Excellence Awards, to Central California
Conference All-Academic Teams for both soccer and basketball.

Liliana has had a strong impact around the community as well. She spend 45 hours
coaching a youth soccer team, 64 hours and counting being an Academic Mentor, and has been
helping me out keeping score for youth basketball games at El Capitan High School during the
past few summers. Liliana plans to graduate high school with a white robe, which means she
would have accounted for 250+ hours of community service throughout her high school career.
She is a tireless worker and has been a beacon of leadership that deserves great admiration.

Liliana Hernandez is a tremendous young woman who has proven to be a true leader
that we all have come to know and admire. It is not often in today’s world that we come across a
person of such high moral standing and tremendous work ethic. Liliana is one of a kind in many
ways; Liliana has set standards in her life for many to aspire. She is a true “superstar” and her
charismatic personality will certainly bring out the very best in every person she comes in
contact with. I’d like to restate my strong support for Liliana Hernandez and I am thrilled I have
had the chance to get to know such a bright young woman.
