Dear friend,
What’s important to you is important to
me. Economic recovery… common sense
government… fiscal responsibility… and
educational success for all Tennesseans.
That’s why I stood strong as we passed a
balanced budget this year with no new
taxes. Here are a few accomplishments that
I worked on for you and our district:
We addressed Tennessee priorities.
My fellow colleagues and I produced a
fiscally responsible budget that grows
jobs, strengthens our schools and gets
tough on crime. With NO new taxes.
Infants in critical condition were in
danger of facing reduced care because
some legislators wanted to cut a vital
care-giving program. But many of us
insisted on putting those funds back
in… because we’re putting Tennessee
Values first.
