DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS QUANTITY SURVEYOR


 Taking quantity from the drawing and preparation of MAS for client submission
 Prepare cost estimates as required
 Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off for tenders.
 Prepare reinforcement schedule for estimating
 Assist in estimation
 Maintain good relationship with subcontractor & clients
 

Collecting realistic and reasonable quotation from sub-contractors without
missing any single hidden scope of work.
Analyses and compare quotation receive at bid stage and clarifying
expulsion/qualification with in.
Analysis of quantity of labor force, Material cost& plant required to finish each
scope of work.
Assist buildup costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost of the
BOQ elements.
Preparation of variation in the case of quantity increase or specification
changes.
Timely rising invoices and follow up for the payments.
Providing deadline for each sub-contractor according to pre calculated periodic
schedule.
Sub-contractors invoice settlement after the evaluation of the work done.
Quality assurance of work done.
Preparing monthly receivables and payables reports.
Proper co-ordination with project teams.
Maintain logs of claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders.
Preparing statements for commercial and project department as per there
