1 - Change Management

• Change management refers to the process of managing any change to the scope of

work and/or any deviation, performance trend, or change to an approved or

baseline project control plan

2 – Road Map

1 - Initiating a Change (Project Variance)

For Full Claim

 Contractor should send a detailed claim within 42 days -or period agreed- , of date when he became

aware of circumstance (or should have been aware) to Engineer [Owner ]

For Ongoing Claim

 Contractor sends further interim claims at monthly intervals, giving accumulated delay and/or amount

claimed, plus such further particulars as Engineer

 Contractor sends final claim within 28 days after end of effects of event/circumstance (or within agreed

period)

We give notice of a future probable event or circumstance, which may adversely affect the work,

increase the Contract price or delay the execution of the Works.

This notice is issued in accordance with Sub-Clause 8.3.

3 - Components of Change Request

Section 1―Title

• Use a concise title to reflect the nature of change

Section 2―Change Information

• Add a brief but detailed written description of the proposed change

• The PCM/CCM, or project controls person, will assign a sequential number to the

PVN, log it into the change register, and coordinate with the project manager for

review

Section 3―Approvals

• The client and/or the contractor project manager, as appropriate and depending on the

change type and contractual requirements, will check the appropriate authorization block,

specify the work that is authorized, the budget or price for the work, and sign the form

Section 4―Distribution

• The PCM/CCM, or project controls person, will check the appropriate blocks and

arrange for distribution
