El pasado progresivo se forma con el pasado del verbo to be WAS/WERE y el verbo principal
en ING.
1. If you come before lunch, she will not be reading the newspaper. (Si vienes
antes del almuerzo, ella no estará leyendo el periódico)
2. You will not be working very hard tomorrow morning. (Tú no estarás
trabajando muy duro mañana por la mañana)
3. Tomorrow afternoon at this time, he will not be teaching mathematics.
(Mañana por la tarde a esta hora, él no estará enseñando matemáticas)
4. At this time next year, he will not be living in Boston. (Para estas fechas el año
que viene, él no estará viviendo en Boston)
5. At this time next year, he will not be speaking German. (Para estas fechas el
año que viene, él no estará hablando alemán)

H ay tres preposiciones en inglés que se utilizan muy a menudo y que tienen reglas que podemos
aprender fácilmente para utilizarlas correctamente. Estas preposiciones son ‘in’, ‘on’ y ‘at’.
Los hispano-hablantes a menudo cometemos errores con estas preposiciones y nos cuesta decidir qué
preposición se debería utilizar y en qué casos. ¿Por qué se dice ‘on the train’ pero ‘in the car’?
Es realmente bastante complicado atinar la preposición correcta, pero con práctica y un poco de voluntad
seguro que las aprendes rapidísimo.
