PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a self-motivated, conscientious, keen problem solver who is seeking an organisation that is able
to provide a structured and comprehensive training programme leading towards a position of
Actuarial Analyst.
I have specialised mathematical and financial knowledge, good business skills, excellent attention to
detail and strong programming and communication skills (oral and written). I enjoy using creative
thinking to solve a variety of problems and like taking the lead, when given the opportunity. I am
proactive and highly focused, with an analytical and logical approach to problem solving, and I am
adept at handling and interpreting complex data.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Gold in the Engineering Education Scheme – Lead in a team of four, designing a device protecting
CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) light bulbs, presenting its features and functionality, and producing a
detailed report
Music: grade 8 (Merit) in trumpet and 6 in piano. I have played the trumpet at prestigious venues
which include the Royal Albert Hall, Padua and Venice festivals. I have also sung at St. Mark’s
Cathedral, Venice
