To whomever it may concern,

It is of my honor and interest to apply for any upcoming early childhood and special education teaching
positions for the 2018-19 school year. As an anticipated 2018 graduate of Seton Hill University, I have
extensive teaching experience and knowledge across all early childhood levels and in several special education
settings. My background includes instructing elementary students in both traditional and alternative
environments. Above and beyond the standard curriculum, I teach my students problem solving skills and
innovative thinking, in addition to responsibility and accountability.

My resume mirrors the plethora of opportunities I have taken to further my own learning as a student and as a
professional educator. Upon receipt of my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Seton Hill University, I will receive
state certifications in Grades Pre-K to Grade 4 and Special Education Pre-K to Grade 8.

I am currently completing my student teaching placement in a 5th and 6th Grade learning support classroom at
Mountain View Elementary in the Greater Latrobe School District. Prior to transitioning to a special education
setting, I completed a seven-week student teaching practicum in a 1st Grade classroom at Mountain View
Elementary. Both opportunities have allowed me to develop and foster a variety of new skills, such as forming
relationships with families and other professionals, as well as working with students independently and in both
small and large group settings.

It is my goal to facilitate my enthusiasm, punctuality, intelligence, and creativity into my own classroom that
will be conducive to the community of your school. I believe that you will find that I am a dedicated and
motivated educator with a strong desire to deliver a high quality educational experience. Through teaching, I am
able to demonstrate my passion and enthusiasm for education while promoting lifelong learning among my
students. I am able to serve as a positive role model for my students while providing them with a better future. I
