BUN > 20 mg/dl

Bicarbonate < 20 mEq/L

Sugar > ~ 250 mg/dl (it's really 252 mg/dl)

MNEMONIC NOTES: This is a mnemonic for remembering the factors for severity of illness
assessment score for TEN/SJS (SCORTEN).

Remember, when you have SJ/TEN, if you can’t get an ambulance, you’re going
to be looking for “CABS!” Also, note that all the “Bs” include 20 for the cutoff.
Everything, including each of the "Bs" is a multiple of 10, basically (TBSA >
10%, Age > 40 years, Sugar > ~ 250).
