Power point presentation and hard copy format in groups of four.

Failure to submit the assignment will result in zero marks allocated to

all members of the group.

We have reached the topic Mergers and Acquisitions

In groups of 5 or 6, choose any two company of your choice which has been merged or
takeover been acquired. It can be a failed or successful M&A.

Your presentation need to include the following:

 It must last for 10 minutes

 Introduction of the company chosen
A brief history of the company’s foundation till present
 Services and products on offer
 Motives behind the M&A from both companies
 The road along the M&A strategy/ the situation. What has happened from the M&A
strategy
 Reasons why the M&A strategy has failed or become successful
 Your analysis from notes gathered in class and discussions as a group (analytical skills)
from the case study
 Reference List

You can include pictures to make your presentation more informative and attractive. Use a
readable font se and colour. Ensure all members has a participative role in the group.

A copy of the presentation n hard copy must be submitted just after the presentation n class.

You can also use additional resource materials during your presentation or any other
techniques to make the presentation interactive for example games, ask questions the
audience.
