Rationale:
During placement for EPT 218 I
was not given the opportunity to
teach multicultural students with
diverse backgrounds. Due to this i
do not have practical knowledge
of the types of strategies which
can be used.
Goal 2: Professional Practice
To improve my lesson planning
and the quality of my teaching.
This aligns with standard 3, focus
area 3.2: plan lesson sequences
using knowledge of student
learning, content and effective
teaching strategies.
Rationale:
Through my own critical
reflections of my lesson plans I
have decided to make this one of
my goals as I believe my lesson
plans are lacking in detail and
structure. I was also not able to
teach sequential lessons in my last
placement.

my supervising teacher noted my
abilities in behavior management
and stated that this area of my
teaching practice needed to be
improved upon.
