• Provided over 90 individual counseling sessions and 60 group counseling sessions to students K-5 using referrals
from parents, teachers, my own identification, and student self-referrals using a form I created
▪ Groups included topics such as social skills, leadership, regulating emotions, school success, growth
mindset, and career exploration
▪ Maintained communication with teachers and parents of group members to monitor student progress,
encourage students on teacher-reported success, and adjust group curriculum as needed
▪ Provided in-class assistance to some students to ensure transfer of skills learned in group to be utilized in
the classroom
• Taught and co-taught 2 classroom guidance units to each class, alternating units for grades K, 2, 4 and 1, 3, 5 on
topics such as conflict resolution, friendship, career exploration, and middle school preparation

intervention for some students
