REVEL IN JUNK

DESCRIPTION:
“Unleash that creative forte in you to build a palace from stones, to renovate
junk to a wonder”

Make your trust in rust. Magic made by engineering from where undesirable
matter can happen in a mechanical form and it is a right platform to showcase
your diverse way of thinking, engineering skills, where imagination and creativity
are what will be at stake. Revel in junk needs no introduction as the name says it
all. You will be given junk scraps out of which you have to build a machine which
can perform the specified task. It’s a test of your dexterity and intuitive thought
process.

RULES:
1. In this event the participants were given a target & few junk
materials that might help them to achieve the target.
2. The participants were supposed to build a working apparatus to
achieve their target using the materials given to them.
3. Participants should bring their ASME Membership card to the
event (if any).
TERA MIND

DESCRIPTION:
“The greatest fear in the world is acting without knowledge”
The law of physics that guides the development of organisms is the same for the
inanimate nature and engineering systems. Real world engineering application
calls for a sandwich of both textual concepts and those that remain undiscovered
in nature. This event aims at imparting these ideas to the participants by
primitive and effective method of questioning and reasoning.

RULES:
 Preliminary round is a written round where you have to answer some
basic Mechanical Engineering questions.
 Teams will be shortlisted for the second round based on their
performance in the preliminary round.
 Participants should bring their ASME Membership card to the event
(if any).
TREASURE HUNT

DESCRIPTION:
This event is exclusively for those who have a core understanding of the college
premises. If one really thinks he/she have made the years of their college life to
count, then here is the stage to prove it. Each team is given with different sets of
tasks each pertaining to their very past years they have passed. This event helps
everyone to evaluate the skills they have acquired in their college.

RULES:
Participants should bring their ASME Membership card to the event (if any).
Each team consists of five members
ROUND 1 : Layout of the college should drawn
ROUND 2 : Conducting experiment test in labs
ROUND 3 : Quiz
ROUND 4 : Treasure Hunt
15-15-15
DESCRIPTION:
Today there are various places and situations where team work is
necessary. This event is one which improves the student’s ability to work as a
team. This will be useful for campus placements and also for their future. The
prelims will be conducted only for 15 minutes and there will be only 15 questions.
The prelims questions will be both logical and quants.

RULES:
 Splitting of teams will be done in lot basis.
 The rules for the final round will be informed on spot.
 Judges decision will be final.
CONNECTIONS

DESCRIPTION:
A connection game is a type of abstract strategy game in which
players attempt to complete a specific type of connection with their pieces. It
plays with the logic of individual minds. It improves the student’s ability to
connect different aspects to achieve a specific goal.

RULES:
 A team should have only two members.
 Judges decision will be final.
 If Tie happens in the final round, the points earned in round 2 may be
considered.
