Adakah yis sejenis mikroorganisma ?

Materials/Bahan :

1. 2 balloons 2. A packet of yeast

2 biji belon Sebungkus yis

3. Sugar 4. 50 ml of warm water

Gula 50 ml air suam

5. 2 bottles 6. Beaker
2 biji botol Bikar

7. Teaspoon 8. Stopwatch
Sudu teh Jam randik
Method/kaedah :

1. Pour 250 ml of warm water into each bottles.

Tuang 250 ml air suam ke dalam setiap botol.

2. Label the bottles as A and B

Label botol tersebut sebagai A dan B

3. Add one teaspoons of yeast into bottle A and three teaspoons of yeast in
botlle B.
Tambahkan 1 sudu teh yis ke dalam botol A dan 3 sudu yis ke dalam botol B.

4. Add a teaspoon of sugar into each bottles.

Tambah satu sudu teh gula ke dalam setiap botol.

5. Cover the neck of the bottles with balloons.

Tutup mulut kedua-dua botol dengan belon.

6. Shake both bottles lightly to dissolve the yeast in the water.

Goncang kedua-dua botol dengan perlahan-lahan untuk melarutkan yis di
dalam air.

7. Observe the condition of the balloons after 5 minutes.

Perhatikan keadaan belon selepas 5 minit.

8. Record your observation in Table 1

9. Clean up the apparatus and clear away the materials properly.

Bersihkan radas dan kemaskan semua bahan dengan cara yang
betul.
