V. Disassembling procedure
1. Disassemble the battery cover: There is a snap on the battery cover at bottom of the cell
phone (overlaid with USB interface), remove the battery cover along the direction as shown in
Fig. 5.1.

2. Disassemble the main board bottom cover: Use manual screwdriver (electric screwdriver) to
unscrew the 15 screws shown in Fig. 5.2.

Use fingernail or disassembling card to separate the snaps on upper and lower cover
in turn from bottom right corner of back side of the cell phone along the arrow
direction (as shown in Fig. 5.3). When the bottom is absolutely separated, uplift the
lower cover to separate the upper and lower cover absolutely as shown in Fig. 5.4

5. Disassemble the main board: and antenna small plate:
Use electric screwdriver (manual screwdriver) to unscrew one screw for fixing the main board
(AS shown in Fig. 5.6)

Snap the three BTB holders at front side of the main board in turn as shown in
Fig. 5.7.

As shown in Fig. 5.8, firstly uplift lower part of the main board, and then pull
backward the main board to separate it from the snap on the top cover, and
unbuckle FFC BTB at lower part of the main board.

At completion, peel off the sticker on top cover battery pack, unbuckle BTB snap and
RF snap on small plate of FFC. Parts after disassembly are as shown in Fig. 5.9.

Antenna small plate: prize the small plate with tweezers from the left side and then
peel off the whole small plate. Please take care to avoid distortion or bending caused
to it. The small plate after disassembly must be tested with gauge to check if it is with
leakage, as shown in Fig. 5.10.

4. Remove the front camera, recover, side key FPC:
The front camera can be directly taken down, and then get down the receiver with
tweezers, as shown in Fig. 5.11.

Volume key and volume key FPC: Firstly remove the FPC holder, take the side key off
from the hole of volume key, and then take the volume key FPC down with the
tweezers. Please take care not to avoid FPC pierced or scratched, as shown in Fig.
5.12.

Dismantle the power key and power key FPC in the same manner and the parts after
disassembly are shown in Fig. 5.13.

5. Dismantle display assembly:
Firstly place the top cover assembly into high temperature test chamber to bake
for 5mon at 70℃, and then use sucker to dismantle the display assembly, and two
persons are required to dismantle it. One person uses the sucker to uplift side
edge of the touch screen, the other one inserts the disassembling card and to peel
off the lower edge double sided adhesive from side edge of the touch screen with
the disassembling card. And then slowly pull the display assembly upwards with
tow hands. Please be careful to prevent FPC broken, as shown in Fig. 5.41/5.15.
