NITIE Admissions - Important Instructions for the GD & PI Process

Process for the day:

• Candidates should report to the Auditorium in Academic Library Building (ALB) on the day of their GD
PI at:
7:45 am for 8 am slot
10:15 am for 10:30 am slot
1:45 pm for 2 pm slot.

• Each candidate will be allotted a serial number. Check for the same from the notice board displayed at
the entrance of the ALB building.

• After noting the serial number, candidates should proceed to the Auditorium. From there, the
candidates will be called for Registration and Attendance at LH-01 Second Floor.

• After attendance, there will be a Document Verification process at LH-02 Second Floor.

• This will be followed by Group Discussion.

• Candidates will then be directed to their respective Personal Interview panel.

Where should I report to on arrival?

• Taylor Hall, if you have applied for accommodation at NITIE (Show your GDPI call letter and a valid
Government ID proof)

• Auditorium - Academic Library Building (ALB), if you arrive for your GD PI directly.

What Documents I need to carry?

List of documents to be brought in ORIGINAL along with 2 photocopies and the following
documents that must be arranged in the same sequence.

1. Two copies of downloaded application form

2. Generated Call letter for GD PI from NITIE portal
3. Xth and XIIth mark sheets
4. Age Proof (Generally it's Xth marksheet itself)
5. B.E/B.Tech Certificate
6. Mark sheets of all years/semesters of B.E/B.Tech
7. GATE Scorecard (Candidates without the valid GATE Score Card 2015/16/17 will not be allowed
to appear for GD & PI)
8. Experience Certificate (Joining letter and last salary slip also would suffice)
9. Caste/Disability Certificate (If Caste Certificate is not available, Apply for it immediately and
come with the receipt)
10. Income proof (Only for SC/ST candidates if annual income is less than 4.5 lakhs)
11. Printed payment receipt (2 copies - Print of the payment receipt, generated in the portal under
Payment Tab)
** Please be informed that in case you miss the 2 sets of photocopies of any of the above-
mentioned documents, you will be among the last few in your slot to enter the GD/PI room **
