Area/ Activity Highlights
Opening of Classes/General Students and teachers come together
Orientation of Students for the orientation of school rules and
regulations. Further, schedules and
classrooms were given.
Election of Classroom Officers Each class elects its own pool of
officers.
1st General PTA Meeting/ Election Each class elects its own parent
of Parent Classroom Officers officers and discusses its plans and
projects for the school year.
Building Work Immersion The school head and the senior high
Partnerships/ Linkages among school coordinator went around the
Public and Private Establishments. town and the nearby town, Piat to
look for possible partners in Cookery/
SMAW and GAS.
Nutrition Month Celebration The students joined nutri-jingle
contest and fruit carving competition.
SPORTS The school conducted Intramurals and
participated in the TISAA, TESSAA and

How did you implement?
The SSG convened the students and
parents for an orientation, giving of
schedules and assigning of classrooms.
The advisers met their respective
classes and elected their officers.
The parents elected their own
classroom officers and donated two
fans for the classroom.
Drafted MOA in each program was
presented to the owner/manager of
the establishment. The establishment
deleted some provisions and included
some that should be observed during
the work immersion. Furthermore,
they identified the number of students
they need in their company.
Students in contemporary arts were
grouped into six and brought some
fruits to carve. Other students joined
the nutri-jingle contest.
The SHS advisers identified the best
athletes in their respective classes for Budget for the athletes
the Intramurals. The athletic
coordinators chose the best athletes
for the TISAA and TESSAA Meet 2016.
The Tuao East Secondary Schools

athletes for the Congressional Meet
2016.
Issues and Challenges
There were conflicts of schedules
and lack of classrooms on the first
day of classes.
There were objections from
students who do not want to be
elected.
The payment was delayed
because not all parents paid on
time. Since not all parents paid,
only one fan was bought. Further,
the electric wirings had problems;
thus, the fan was not able to be
installed.
There were provisions that
establishments did not like to be
included. They also need minimal
number of students so they can
concentrate in training them.
Re-scheduled time and venue.
Resolutions
The teachers fixed the conflicts
and requested junior high school
classrooms to be used for the
meantime.
Others were given the chance to
be officers.
The fan was kept by the advisers.
The provisions were changed
according to how the company
wants it. The school agrees to the
number of students the company
needs.
The contest was moved in the
afternoon and was transferred at
the SHS building.
PTA gave a counterpart on their
collection of school fees.

meeting for some important school
matters and for the issuance of
students’ cards. Thereafter, a general
assembly was conducted.
The school’s work immersion focal
person met with the industry partner
to forge a MOA with the agency. Upon
mutual agreement, the MOA was
signed by both parties.
Policies and guidelines of both the
school and the agency were discussed.
A program was set, speakers were
assigned to give tribute and a simple
lunch was served.

simple merienda was served.
A drill is done to prepare students
from earthquake.
The students attended their first day
through an orientation program and
that very day, they started with the
activities of immersion.
Immersion teachers introduced the
immersion supervisors and showed
the immersion site. Orientation was
done thereafter.

given when the signature of the
principal, SHS DepEd focal person
and SDS were sought.

The Grade 10 and 11 students enjoyed
the night with dances and
acquaintance.

activities, ball games and laro ng lahi
were also participated by the SHS
students. Movie houses were opened
for the different requirements of SHS
students to be viewed by the JHS
students.

and tables. Different awards were
given at the end of the show.
Students filed their candidacy, had a
general and homeroom campaign in a
day.

its employees for an orientation of the

Guidance Counselor and SSG Adviser
delivered their separate talks on
random drug testing.
The LGU Tuao through the Municipal
Health Office together with the
Philippine National Police conducted a
symposium on Drug awareness among
students of TVTS. There were
questions raised and whoever
