COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Engineering Management introduces students to the working of an organization and its different
departments from managerial perspective e.g. Operations management, Product Design
Development Management, Quality Management, Productivity Management, etc. This course
enables them to describe quality, quality standards, quality policies, supply chain management,
procurement procedures, project management processes and the current trend shift in
management concepts.
After the end of the course students would have a fair idea about the dynamics of an organization
and would help them in building conceptual abilities to understand different business practices.
They can evaluate problems by using decision making tools and demonstrating their work by
giving presentation and reports.
