JOB DESCRIPTION

General description:

Duties and responsibilities:

 Manage the quality assurance department, directing the work of quality technicians and any other personnel,
to satisfy the quality the requirements for current business, and future improvements.

 Develop and execute annual quality goals and objectives tat align with overall company goal and long term
strategic concerns.

 Setup ISO9001 certification and maintain adherence to the quality system.

 Actively direct the corrective actions system for customer complaints/warranties/returns, and internal
processes.

 Participate in new product introduction, or product change projects, assuring that all requisite quality
characteristics and requirements are met.

 Work with engineering, production, and QA team, to develop documentation of processes and procedures.

 Lead the development of quality and improvement plans that will impact the overall cost.

Requirements:

Education:

 Bachelor's degree in Quality or an Engineering Discipline. Masters preferred.

Experience:

 At least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing based business.

Skills:

 Knowledge of quality methods, tools, and instruments. (8D, 5Why analysis, Ishikawa Diagram etc).

 Supplier development experience to the automotive or power generation OEM is preferred.

 Strong background with ISO 9001 quality system requirement.

 Experience in developing and implementing training for inspection, quality system, and total Quality
Management methods.

 Strong problem solving and communication skills.

 Results oriented.

 Manage by Objectives.

 Strong experience on people management.

Specific Knowledge:

 Proven Required experience on:

 ISO 9001:10 Years

 Quality Assurance: 10 Years
