 Good Evening Everyone,

You have seen the bulletin board in the main hallway, you have heard about it in PLC's. Now
it is time to share with you what it M.V.T. really means.

Your administrative team have begun the Most Valuable Teacher award. We know that you
are doing amazing things in your classroom everyday. This is our opportunity to highlight and
recognize teachers for demonstrating excellence in Teaching and Learning.

The criteria for Most Valuable Teacher  includes one of the following:
­Perfect Instructional Walk­through­informal or formal observation (can be any subject) and
100% of students are actively engaged. (This includes AIG, EC, ESL and Specials)

­Perfect Guided Reading Lesson

When you meet the criteria above you will receive a star. The teacher with the most stars at
the end of the month will receive the "Most Valuable Teacher" recognition. Prizes include 1 hr
lunch break, catered lunch by Jason's Deli and up to $50 to spend on supplies at Office Depot,
Lakeshore, or Scholastic.

The teacher that wins the monthly recognition, will also have their picture taken and placed
on the MVT bulletin board. We are excited about this initiative and are hoping it will continue
through next year.

So let continue to be "On Fire" for  +23 and earn STARS!!! Yay!!!! Woo Hoo!!!
