ABSTRACT
One of the biggest problems that farmers have day to day in their work, is that
they spend a lot of time supervising their crops and the conditions that this presents as
they are crucial during their growth. For this reason, an investigation was carried out with
the objective of developing an advanced monitoring system to reduce working times
mainly in the fertilization phase. It was made use of a software of the System (IGSS) for
the Interactive Graphic Supervision and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and the Programmable
Logic Controller (PLC), which were incorporated into the fertigation system. The project
acts in two conditions, the first that indicates the level of water in the tank and the second
that detects moisture in the soil; what allows to observe and control without any
inconvenience, resulting in the worker being able to monitor his seeding without forcing or
causing damage to the area. This can be further refined with the help of analog type
devices, where it is easier for the person to see the data in real time by means of a screen
in supervised mode or that can be executed online, that is, through the internet.
