Brief 1 Television: You have been given the task of producing the first two of what your agency hopes

will become a series of 30 second television adverts to promote a new unisex deodorant from UK
deodorants, an existing agency client.

How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning
and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 350 words)

I will the codes and conventions of television aadverts in my own through the use of a multitued of

varied camera shots and movement in my advert such as P.O.V, Over the shoulder shot, two shot and a
close up of arm pit shot (product shot). When editing my adverts i will use tecniques such as jump cuts,

eyeline match and face pased editing to imitate a flustered and chaotic lifestyle before the product use
and then it calming down. The sound will only include the sound effects and ambient sound just too add
something to the video and background music to create a assosiation between the advert and a well

known song and a catchy advert. The graphics such as super imposition on the video will include the
pack shot in the video which establishes the slogan of the deodorant and any other key information

audience are the average everyday person who is busy, youthful and want to look good, when
