The equipment may not be operational within 90 days afer manufacture, and the anufacturet shall erat and prepare the equipmeat for export transportation and long- term storage. Precautionary measures for prolonged storage shall be provided by the mancfictorer atthe factory, The Contraco shall be responsible for storage and maintenance of the protective measures as recommended and insracted by the manufacturer while stored «the storage site, In addition to the protection specified for prolonged storage, ths packaging ‘of spare pars shal be prepared for export packing and shall be suitable for long-term storage in a damp location. Each spare item skal. be packed separately and shall be completely identified on the outside of the container. Instrections forthe servicing of equipment while in longterm er prolonged storage shall accompany cach item of equipment.
