Planning Engineer (Previously Engineer Development Engineering)

Qualification:

A Graduate holding Bachelor degree in Aerospace / Avionics or equivalent.

Main Function

He will report to Manager Planning and Production control regarding activity of Development

Engineering Section of AWM of Airblue as described below.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Development and control Aircraft Maintenance Program of Airblue fleet. Also assists in preparation,
amendment and approval of Aircraft Maintenance Program.
2. Preparation, Planning and issuance of Check Packages for C-Check, A-Check and Re-delivery checks at
the time of lease returns.
3. Assist in Preparation, issue and amendment of life list base d on time controlled aircraft components.
5. Assists in Issuance local task cards / Engineering Orders as per SBs / ADs etc or as recommended by
Evaluation Committee.
6. Assists in compliance of all applicable AD's and mandatory modifications as per their requirements.
7. Assists in filling of required documents for renewal of C of A of every A/C
8. Assists in preparation of Inspection Task Cards, EO's when required.
9. Assists in carrying out aircraft / Engine evaluation along with fulfillment of induction requirements
10. Any other assignment given by Airblue Management.
Aircraft Engineer/Assistant Engineer /Trainee Engineer PP

Bachelor of Engineering by recognized university / institute with computer literacy.

Main Function

He is directly responsible to Senior Manager Airworthiness Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Control trend monitoring, BSI inspections, Oil consumption and MCD inspection and take
required actions and maintain their certified record
2. Review, evaluate, monitor and control AD's and SB's for compliance, update their LD and ND
status after every A and C Check of assigned ATAs and take required action.
3. Update AD and SB LD ND status of all AD's and SB's of Engine and APU
4. Provide copy of LD ND status after every update to Group 2-Mr Shoaib Ahmed
5. Maintain an AD and SB File Aircraft and ESN wise with the copy of the AD, Task card or EO and
DFP
6. Review MEL's, Defects and Delays on daily basis and take corrective actions. Issue TSR's where
required For Engine and APU ATA's
7. Develop and issue Engine and APU work scope for shop checks as and when become due.
8. Develop and issue EO, ECO and Insp task cards and enter them in OASES and advise Tech
Records and P & PC
9. Upload defects and delays on AMS of same ATA's
10. Prepare Monthly return for PCAA and upload it on AMS
11. Develop record for AMP tasks related with Engine and APU of all aircraft for their effective
control
12. Issue Tech Notice as and when required
13. Prepare required documents for C of A renewal at least 2 months before its expiry.
14. Review LD and ND status of all AD's of AP-EDG since birth, attach DFP when last done, Double
check ND and amend record where required, take required action and issue a certificate.
Aircraft Engineer/ Asst. Engr/Trainee Engineer Structures AWM

Qualification:

Must have a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Update dent and damage charts for ABQ Fleet


2. Review, evaluate, monitor and control Structure AD's and SB's ATA 50 to 57 for compliance,
update their LD and ND status.
3. Provide copy of LD ND status after every update to Group 2-Mr Shoaib Ahmed
4. Maintain and control of a/c weighing thru tech records
5. Co-ordinate with Maintenance, Airbus and PCAA regarding damage recording, communicating it
to Airbus, getting RDAS and manage approval from PCAA.
6. Evaluate AD and SB related with structure and monitor their timely compliance and update
ad/sb status
7. Provide copy of LD ND status after every update to Group 2-Mr Shoaib Ahmed
8. Maintain an AD File Aircraft wise with the copy of the AD, Task card or EO and DFP
9. Co-Ordinate with OEM,MRO , Airbus and CFM and CAA as and when required
10. Review LD and ND status of all AD's of AP-BMW since birth, attach DFP when last done, Double
check ND and amend record where required, take required action and issue a certificate.
Engineer/ Asst. Engr/Trainee Engineer Airframe AWM

Qualification:

Must have a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Review, evaluate, monitor and control AD's and SB's for compliance, update their LD and ND status after
every A and C Check of assigned ATA;s 12 ,20, 21, 25, 27, 28, 29, 32,36,38,49,50-57, 70-80 and take
required action.
2. Update LD and ND status of all AD's after getting input from all members of group 1 and 2 and issue
weekly AD status report
3. Maintain an AD File Aircraft wise with the copy of the AD, Task card or EO and DFP
4. Review Mel’s, Defects and Delays on daily basis and take corrective actions. Issue TSR's where required
for assigned ATA's
5. Upload Defects, Reportable defects and delays on AMS Part 1 and 2 as applicable.
6. Prepare and upload monthly return on AMS
7. Provide data for monthly Reliability report with PIREP and MIREPS of same ATA's
8. Report all defects to Airbus on monthly basis
9. Enter reportable defects in AMS of same ATA's
10. Issue Tech Notice as and when required
11. Prepare required documents for C of A renewal at least 2 months before its expiry.
12. Develop and issue EO, ECO and Insp task cards and enter them in OASES and advise Tech Records and P
& PC
13. Co-Ordinate with OEM,MRO , Airbus and CFM and CAA as and when required
14. Review LD and ND status of all AD's of AP-EDA since birth, attach DFP when last done, Double check
ND and amend record where required, take required action and issue a certificate.
Aircraft Engineer Airframe AWM (Group Leader)

Qualification:

Must have a valid AME license B1 and an Experience of 7 Years

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Review MEL's, Defects and Delays on daily basis and take corrective actions. Issue TSR's where required
for ATA: 12,20,21,25,27,28,29,32,36,38,49,50-57, 70-80
2. Upload Defects, Reportable defects and delays on AMS Part 1 and 2 as applicable
3. Prepare and upload monthly return on AMS
4. Provide data for monthly Reliability report with PIREP and MIREPS of same ATA's
5. Report all defects to Airbus on monthly basis
6. Enter reportable defects in AMS of same ATA's
7. Provide data for monthly Reliability report with PIREP and MIREPS of same ATA's
8. Review, evaluate, monitor and control AD's and SB's for compliance, update their LD and ND status after
every A and C Check of assigned ATA;s and take required action.
9. Provide copy of LD ND status after every update to Group 2-Mr Shoaib Ahmed
10. Maintain an AD File Aircraft wise with the copy of the AD, Task card or EO and DFP
11. Issue Tech Notice as and when required
12. Prepare required documents for C of A renewal at least 2 months before its expiry.
13. Develop and issue EO, ECO and Insp task cards and enter them in OASES and advise Tech Records and P
& PC
14. Review LD and ND status of all AD's of AP-BMN since birth, attach DFP when last done, Double check
ND and amend record where required, take required action and issue a certificate.
15. Provide requirements of BSI, trend monitoring, Oil consumptions for A and C checks to group 1 leader to
include in the final work packages.
16. Develop and issue engine and APU work packages and advise Group 1 leader for amendment in AMP
17. Co-Ordinate with OEM,MRO , Airbus and CFM and CAA as and when required
18. Monitor trend monitoring, BSI inspections, Oil consumption and MCD inspection on the fleet and ensure
that they are fully complied with.
Aircraft Engineer/ Asst. Engr/Trainee Engineer Avionics AWM

Qualification:

Must have a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Avionics Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Review MEL's, Defects and Delays on daily basis and take corrective actions. Issue TSR's where required
for ATA: 22,23,24,26,30,31,33,34,35,42,44-47
2. Upload Defects, Reportable defects and delays on AMS Part 1 and 2 as applicable
3. Prepare and upload monthly return on AMS
4. Provide data for monthly Reliability report with PIREP and MIREPS of same ATA's
5. Report all defects to Airbus on monthly basis
6. Evaluate, monitor and control AD's and SB's for compliance, update their LD and ND status for A320
AND A321 aircraft- ATA 22,23,24,26,30,31,33,34,35,42,44-47
7. Provide copy of LD ND status after every update to Group 2- Shoaib Ahmed
8. Maintain an AD File Aircraft wise with the copy of the AD, Task card or EO and DFP
9. Develop and issue check A and C package of A321 a/c at least 2 and 6 months respectively before their due
date.
10. Review of check A and check C package after its completion to ensure that they are complete in every
respect. for KHI based aircraft..
11. Prepare required documents for C of A renewal at least 2 months before its expiry.
12. Develop and issue EO, ECO and Insp task cards and enter them in OASES and advise Tech Records and P
& PC
13. Issue Tech Notices
14. Co-Ordinate with OEM,MRO , Airbus and CFM and CAA as and when required
15. Review LD and ND status of all AD's of AP-BMM since birth, attach DFP when last done, Double check
ND and amend record where required, take required action and issue a certificate.
Assistant Manager Technical Records (AMTR)

Qualification

Minimum 05 years of experience as Engineering Assistant and 02 years as Supervisor Tech record in an
Airline with Computer Literacy.

Main Function

He is responsible to Senior Manager Airworthiness Management for all types of functions/operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform the following functions to control the entries of data in the Aircraft, Engine and
APU Log Books respectively.
a) Maintain a separate Log Book for each Aircraft Registration, each Engine serial
number, and each Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) serial number.
b) Make all the relevant entries at the beginning of each Log Book stating all the basic
data.
c) Ensure that the required entries are made stating references of the scheduled work, major
component replacements, modifications, repairs, and major unscheduled work affecting
airworthiness. Statement of incident, occurrence, accident affecting the integrity of the
aircraft, engine or APU. Ensure that the incorporation status or repeat inspections as per
AD/CAA mandatory requirements are recorded.
d) Record in the aircraft log book, the flying hours, landings, total airframe hours, since new,
total landing since new and total time since highest maintenance check.
Record in the engine log book the number of cycles, cycles since new, flight time,
time run since new, time run since last shop visit and times and / or cycles run since last
statement of life used on life limited items.
e) Ensure that each Log Book entry is signed by an authorized AME.
Be responsible for the integrity of the data in the Log Books. It is important that the writing in
the Log Books is permanently legible and clearly written. Any deletions should also be
legible and signed.
f) Shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the Log Books until two years after the aircraft
is permanently withdrawn from service or destroyed.
2. He shall control and maintain the Time Controlled item File for each aircraft registration and each
engine serial number. The contents shall be:
a) Embodiment of SBs, SILs, ADs, and CAA Mandatory requirements
b) List of emergency equipment and other degradable items that require inspection,
servicing and certification at repeated intervals.
c) List of time controlled systems checks, special inspections, special sampling Checks
of "On condition" maintenance items at specified intervals.
d) Replacement of hard time controlled and life expiry components and parts.
e) Engine condition monitoring checks and inspections as applicable.
f) Obtain the updated master record of the above-mentioned items from the concerned
Planning Engineer
g) Make a complete record of the specific details of each item and state the hours, cycles / dates /
repeat intervals when the check / inspection / replacement are due.
h) Shall be responsible for the integrity of all the data recorded.
i) Shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the records.

3. Assistant Manager Technical Records shall be responsible for scheduling of SBs, SILs,
ADs and PCAA Mandatory Requirements as follows:
a) For embodiment of SBs, SILs, ADs or CAA mandatory requirement, concerned
Development Engineer shall advise Assistant Manager Technical Records under
acknowledgment that the said work must be performed before the specified date or during
specific grounding
b) For scheduling the work during the specified grounding / date and will inform the
concerned Manager well in advance.
c) For scheduling repeat inspections / checks regularly at the specified intervals as required
per SBs, SILs, ADs or mandatory requirements.
d) To check the completed documents in each of the above case and record the required
data.
e) To inform Concerned Development Engineer stating the incorporation status of the
SBs, SILs, ADs / CAA mandatory requirement.
f) To update the Master Record.
4. Assistant Manager Technical Records shall plan maintenance checks up-to Check ‘A’ level and
special inspections as mentioned below:
a) Inform concerned Trainee Engineer or Development Engineer in advance that check ‘A’,
special inspection, special system checks and sampling checks are to be scheduled so that
bill of work could be issued.
b) Make an entry in the worksheets for the required check, inspection and replacement
during the appropriate grounding.
c) Check the worksheets after completion that the replacement, inspection and special
check have been performed.
d) Update the record stating the required data.
e) Inform Senior Manager Airworthiness Management urgently in case any mandatory
requirement like component change, system Check , inspection or sampling have not been
performed.
5. Assistant Manager Technical Records shall schedule component change as per following:
a) Inform concerned Manager MCC or Senior Manager Maintenance in advance that the
specific component is due for replacement on the particular date / flying hour / grounding.
b) Make an entry in the maintenance worksheets for the replacement of the component
before expiry date (when applicable).
c) Record the component data after component replacement as per appropriate documents.
6. Assistant Manager Technical Records shall advise the Engineering Assistant to retain the records
as under:
a) Aircraft, Engine and APU Log Books are retained until two year after the aircraft, engine
or APU is permanently withdrawn from service or destroyed.
b) The maintenance check worksheets, the Aircraft Technical Logs and, Aircraft
Performance Record shall be retained for two years after the date of certification
7 Perform any other assignment by Management as and when required.
