 This opportunity was presented to me as a freshman on the Loras baseball team.
 Once a week, I was able to interact with a remarkable student who was lacking
structure in his home life and focus on completing both academic work as well as fun
activities.
Seventh grade student – Washington Middle School
 I was able to work with a seventh grade young man who was lacking encouragement
and motivation in school as well as in extra-curricular activities.
 Through our interactions, this student was able to set goals for himself academically,
as well as in his co-curriculars.
