Overview of the lesson:


Ayesha Jaber had a lesson about My Home and My Room

Strengths:

- Engaging and stimulating starter

- Has provided with several differentiated activities

- Good intonation (but need improvement with the loudness)


Areas for development:
- Include in your lesson plan the possible higher order thinking skills (HOTS) questions that you might
ask to the students as they do the activity. This can be an affective formative assessment tool.

- You have put in your LP that you will monitor students’ acquisition of the learning through checklist
but I have not seen you doing it.

- Do not forget to emphasize giving praise to students who have accomplished tasks (esp. big tasks)

- Improve you transition strategy. You may use the clean-up song to prepare them for the next part
of the lesson (it will also lessen the time of you picking-up the activity sheets of your students).

- Provide more meaningful PLENARY to students. This is the part of the lesson where you should
involve all the students and ensure that they have achieved the learning objectives.

- You have misspelled – WARDROBE (you wrote wardrob)

- Provide instructions in front of the class for the 1st activity. But for the next set of activities, you
may just explain them per group to avoid time waiting for the others to finish.

- Puzzle activity = you can make it more challenging by providing more pictures (because since
students were only building 2 pictures, they were able to finish the activity fast)

Focus for next lesson:


- Please be guided accordingly from the above-mentioned areas for development.
