MINOR PROJECT: HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER:

Smart home is a device used to automatically switch on or off the appliances used in our houses.
Normally on entering the rooms, we have to switch on the lights and fans. Also, while we exit, it is the
responsibility of the last person leaving the room to switch them off. We present a smart way to
automatically switch on and off the lights and fans of the room.The sensors sense the person entering
the room while another is the light sensor, which detects the amount of light in the room and decides
whether there is a need to switch on the lights or not. The numbers of person entering the room are
displayed on the LCD.

MAJOR PROJECT: WIRELESS VOICE INTERCEPTOR:

Voice Interceptor, as the name suggests, intercepts the voice of a person and performs the functions
for which it is programmed for. To perform the function wirelessly, the voice is first Frequency
Modulated and then transmitted to the FM Receiver. The receiver sends the demodulated voice to the
computer. Here the voice is recognized and is send to the controller with the help of serial port. The
controller, with the help of microcontroller, controls various devices around. So, the Voice Interceptor is
a very useful device, which helps a person to operate his devices remotely, with the use of his
voice/command.

INFOSYS CAMPUS CONNECT PROGRAM

Key Objective: To learn basics of software programming, computer hardware and system software
concept, relational data base management system, programming fundamental, analysis of algorithm
etc.
