And sort words based on the final long e sound spelling pattern. And also write at least one sentence
including words with the final long e sound.

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

- Starting the lesson by asking question. Ex: (our lesson will be about the sounds of the letters who can
tell me what we call that?/ what are the vowels) /
Time: 15 min

- Talk about the objectives

- Model the sounds
- discuss the vocabulary.

Sorting the words according to how the final long e spelled in each word.

Independent Experience (activity 1)


The students will spell and write the vowel for each word to fill in the blank.

Independent Experience (activity 2)

Each student will write at least two sentences using the words that contain final long e sound.

Closing (review learning -LO)

The teacher will ask the students to read and share their sentences.

Assessment (to be done during activity time, who and what will be assessed?)

By observing and Writing notes for a group of students.

Children’s learning: the students were exited and motivated to do the activities.

My teaching: I have managed a calm and engaged classroom atmosphere.

Children’s leaning: they didn’t come to show me their work and they waited their friends to finish.

My teaching: I stated the behavior for each activity and I modeled it on the white board so everyone could see.

Behavior management:

Some students at the end of the lesson were coming to me to show me their work and it was distracting other
students to complete their work.


Give them the chance to write as many as they can.
