Contingency plan
If for any reason I could not acquire certain equipment from my friend then I would
have to hire equipment out from college, this would mean that I can continue to make
the production at a professional standard and stay on schedule to meet the deadline.
In order to get everything done on time, I will have to make sure that I shoot everything
in the 3 days so that it has given myself time to overcome any problems that may
occur, maybe even edit and work over time to make sure I get everything done in time
if im certain that it will take longer than expected. I have also made a schedule of what
I have to shoot on what day to have a small plan to get any idea of how long everything
will take.
Just in case I forget to bring some of the props in or we cannot find something in a
shop I will either have to move the shooting of that particular scene which the prop is
needed in or improvise and make something out of nothing or change the script a little
bit and use the things that I have got. I will also remind myself to bring the equipment
on the right day.
As well as the props, I will definitely need to remember to hire out the right equipment
on the right day, to make sure this is done I will most likely gather and hire the
equipment on Monday and after using it we will keep it in my house which is the set of
the production, just in case I bring the camera in on most of the days and then forget
to bring it on.
Friday for example which would be the worst scenario especially if I only have one
scene left to shoot. This is because I would be behind schedule and may not have
enough time to edit and animate my production. I will also need lights and all the other
equipment that I have hired and I may not have them anymore as im planning on
filming only on the Monday and Tuesday. This can be overcome however as I can hire
the equipment for the whole week just in case of reshoots, I will also have the weekend
to finish animating and editing.
I also have a plan B just in case my actors cannot make it or are ill on the day/week, I
will use my backup actor Alex Pausey, this is because he is in the same class as
myself and is an experience actor therefore would be a good candidate for an actor in
my production.
If the weather conditions are looking to be bad on the day then I will have to move
production to a further date where the weather is more acceptable. I will do this by
looking at the weather forecast at a further date. If I cannot find a sunny day then I
plan to film on an overcast day as it is more likely to have this weather in the location
I live in. Therefore it leaves me with more days that I could film my production on.
