Competence to develop:
Discover the English 2 course environments, activities to develop as
well as give personal information as part of self-introduction.
Topics to develop:
 Expressions to introduce yourself
 Greetings
Steps, phases of the learning strategy to develop
Task based learning. The student uses His/er English in a particular
communicative context, in order to carry out a task: planning,
describing, inviting, summarizing, etc. The construction of this work,
will count with the orientation and accompaniment from the e-
mediator.
Activities to develop

Stage 1 INTRODUCING YOURSELF:


Write down a paragraph with your personal presentation. Take into
account the following model. Remember to write full sentences.

Stage 2 UPDATE YOUR PROFILE IN CAMPUS:


Update your profile:
 Upload a photograph on the profile. (Complete face- We are in an
academic context)
 Write a short paragraph giving your personal information (in
English). Take into account the information above.
 Take a screenshot of your profile and upload it in the recognition
forum

 What do you consider is your best skill (writing - speaking –


listening – reading) in the English language? And why?
 What kind of material you use to improve your English?
 How can you improve the other skills you are not good at?
 Is English important for your future as a professional? Why?

Remark: if the answers are negative still give a reason why on each
question.

Stage 5 SELECT A ROLE:

Choose the role you will be performing during this activity and write it
on the forum for the activity. Take into account the roles for the
collaborative work. Justify why you choose it highlighting the
strengths and weaknesses to perform the chosen role. Make agreements
with your partners according to the role.

Stage 6 CONSOLIDATE THE FINAL PRODUCT:

 In a Word document consolidate all the information uploaded by


each student from stages 1 to 4
 Create a chart with all the Skype accounts from every student.

Stage 7 UPLOAD THE FINAL PRODUCT

Transform the consolidated document into a PDF format and upload the
final product in the Monitoring and Evaluation Environment.
