ALBERT EINSTEIN

(1879-1955)

Albert Einstein was a physicist who developed the general theory of relativity.
He is considered one of the most influential physicists of the 20th century.

Albert Einstein was born in 1879 at Ulm, in Württemberg Germany. He grew up in a

Jewish family. Albert Einstein married Milena Maric on 1903. Later, in 1896 he
entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich. In 1921, he won the Nobel
Prize for physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect.

In 1999, Canadian scientists who were studying Einstein's brain found that his
inferior parietal lobe was 15 percent larger than in people with normal intelligence.
According to The New York Times that is the reason why Einstein was so intelligent.

Albert Einstein died at the University Medical Center at Princeton in 1955 at the age
of 76.
