OMBUDSMAN and PEDRO
DELA CRUZ,
Respondents.

SECOND EX-PARTE MOTION FOR EXTENSION

OF TIME TO FILE CONSOLIDATED REPLY

PETITIONER, by counsel and to this Honorable Court, most

respectfully states THAT:

1. On March XX, 20XX, petitioner, through counsel, filed an Ex-

Parte Motion for Extension of Time to File Consolidated Reply praying for
an additional period of fifteen (15) days or until March XX, 20XX, within
which to file a consolidated reply.

2. However, due to the pressures of equally urgent professional

work and prior commitments, including attendance to hearings and meetings
outside Metro Manila, the undersigned counsel needs additional time within
which to finalize the consolidated reply. Hence, petitioner again begs the
utmost indulgence of the Honorable Court and humbly prays for an
additional period of fifteen (15) days from March XX, 20X, or until April
XX, 2XX within which to file petitioner’s consolidated reply.

3. This motion is intended not to delay the proceedings of this

case but solely due to the foregoing reason.

PRAYER

WHEREFORE, in the light of the foregoing premises, petitioner

most respectfully prays of this Honorable Court to GRANT this motion and
GIVE petitioner an additional period of fifteen (15) days from March XX,
20XX, or until April XX, 201XX, within which to file a consolidated reply.

1
Other reliefs just and equitable under the foregoing premises are
likewise prayed for.
