Reflection:
A lot of students shared at the end that they learned that God is Almighty and is able to do what humans cannot do. I
think that’s the point of learning a Bible story. I’m glad this lesson achieves this goal and students learned about this
important truth. Also, I’m glad that the pacing of the second lesson is really good. We had enough time to tell the whole
story, share what they have learned and pray. Besides, reading the story with students acting out is a very effective way
to engage them and help them understand the story. Because of this, I could also decode words in story to them on the
spot immediately. So I should continue to show students the real story in Bible with more details and lead them to
reflect and pray afterward.
