InTASC Standard 6 Reflection:

For InTASC Standard 6, I chose to showcase the artifact of “The Giver”-Vocabulary

Quiz. Standard 6 says “The teacher understands and uses multiple methods of assessment to

engage learners in their own growth, to monitor learner progress, and to guide the teacher’s and

learner’s decision making.” This artifact shows that this standard is met because the vocabulary

lesson for “The Giver” is an assessment that I had to create using the chapter I was assigned to

do during the class of EDUC 233: Children’s Literature.
