Subject : QUOTATION FOR PRECAST ELEMENTS

Dear Sir,

We take this opportunity to thank you for your invitation to participate in the above
project. Please find below our offer for the Fabrication, Supply, and Erection of Precast
Concrete Elements, based on the Drawings/specs and BOQ provided by you.

TECHNICAL SCOPE OF WORK

USBS will use ACI, PCI & ASTM for design criteria and details. So it is understood by
client that all above mentioned codes application / allowances………………..is accepted.

B. PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS

B1. USBS will design all elements as per ACI – PCI requirements.

B2. USBS will prepare the shop drawings for the precast concrete elements, based on
the original drawings, for your approval.

B3. USBS will fabricate, supply, and erection of the precast concrete elements, as per
approved shop drawings, at your site in Ad- Dammam.

B4. The P.C. Boundary Panels will be 120 mm thick and 3.0 m high, solid, white
cement Sandblast finish from outside and white cement smooth finish from inside.
(including the logo @ every 4th panel)

B5. P.C. Boundary Columns will be 300 mm x 300 mm x 3.1 m high, white cement and
sandblast finish.(C/C spacing 5 m)

B6. P.C. Footings will be 1150 x 1150 x 200 mm thick with 400 mm deep socket and
grey cement hand-trowel finish.

B7. P.C. Beam will be (400 x 200) 4250 mm long and grey cement hand-trowel finish.

B8. Concrete compressive strength shall 4000 PSI at 28 days.

B9. All reinforcing steel will be of uncoated deformed rebar.

B10. Grout between Column and Footing is included in our price where needed as per
approved drawings and will be normal sand cement grout.

B11. All accessories and embedded steel plates, angle brackets, galvanization, etc. in
cast in situ are not included in our scope and to be provided by client.

B12. As mentioned above our scope of work is limited to fabrication, supply and
installation for P.C. Boundary wall only not included excavation, blinding,
backfilling, termite control, compaction or any other work related to boundary
wall.

C. PRICE

C1. Our Quantity is based on the Drawings/specs provided by you.

C2. The price list will be used for invoice purpose only.

C3. Final invoice amount will be based on USBS shop drawings and bill of quantities.

C4. Note: All rebar steel quoted based on SR 2500/Ton. Any price increases above this
level will accordingly be endured by you.

D. EXCEPTIONS & DEVIATIONS

D1. All built-in hardware in cast-in-situ concrete like steel dowel bars, plates, etc, will
be done by client as per our shop drawings.

D2. Our offer included all accessories need to fix our panels to your structure.

D3. This Quotation is based on the drawings/specs and BOQ received from you.

D4. Estimated quantities are approximate and should be re-measuring upon receipt of
final approved drawings.

D5. Gates and Guard house are not included in our offer.

D6. Any change in soil bearing pressure is subjected to change in design and price.

D7. Joint Sealant if needed is not included in our price.

D8. Crane at site for off-loading and erection of (boundary wall) Precast Element is not
included in our price. Therefore, the client should arrange appropriate crane to
precede the site activities, without any cost to USBS.

D9. This quotation is based in the current price only. Due to continuous increase of the
major construction raw-materials price (such as Sand & Coarse aggregates,
Cement, Reinforcement Bars / Wire meshes, Pre stressed Strands, Steel/Timber

 moulds, Accessories / Fixing and Inserts in the PC elements, Transportation), any
increase of the price with a proof (letters from suppliers, Purchase Orders, etc…)
would be submitted and subsequently would be added to the value of this
quotation.

E. REMARKS

E1. Attachment (B, C) forms an integral part of this offer. Where contradictions exist,
the wording of this quotation prevails.

E2. The provided price is based on award of all quantity.

E3. Scaffolding /man-lift if needed will be provided by you.

E4. The electrical supply and water supply on site to be provided by you.

E5. The client will provide proper access near and all around the buildings/structures
on job site for USBS trucks, trailers, etc.

E6. List of Drawings; our price is based on the following drawings received from you.

F. PAYMENT TERMS

F1. ADVANCE

25% advance payment upon signing of the contract.

All these items should be covered by confirmed irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) as

F2. INVOICE

F2a. 10 % for shop drawings submittal.

F2b. 40% for production, monthly progress invoices payable in fifteen days from date of
invoice.

F2c. 20% for erection, monthly progress invoices payable in fifteen days from date of
invoice.

F2d. 5% at job completion, invoice payable in fifteen days from date of invoice.

G. DURATION

G1. The job will be completed in (to be agreed) weeks from date of shop drawing
approval and subject to the following.

G2. Releasing all due payment as mentioned in F1 &F2 above.

G3. Approving all shop drawings in time.

G4. Site readiness including access as mentioned in E6 above.

H. VALIDITY

Our offer is valid for 30 days from the date of this quotation.
