3. History of the cluster with special reference to past interventions (Please capture the major
projects/ interventions done in the cluster and the outcomes/ impacts thereof)
4. National and International Scenario of the related sector
5. Place and cluster map including number of principal firms
6. Product(s) and Processes(Please capture all the product categories and processes/
technologies used. Please suggest the products to be focused under the M-CIP
intervention and give a rationale behind the same)
7. Vital statistics of the cluster (No of principal firms/ enterprises, their categories (micro/small/
medium) and sub categories, if any; employment, turnover and so on)
8. Status of principal firms: Describe the technology, major markets and marketing avenues,
HRD status, financial practices, facilities available, etc.
9. Status of Support firms: Describe the types, numbers – both within and outside the cluster
and how they are linked with the cluster firms
10. Status of Technical Institutions: Describe the major activities done to support principal firms
by each technical institution for promoting market, infrastructure, environment protection, skill,
quality, productivity, backward linkages, etc.
11. Status of Association: Describe the major activities done to support principal firms by each
BMOs for promoting market, infrastructure, environment protection, skill, quality, productivity,
backward linkages, etc.
12. Status of other support institution: Describe the major activities done to support principal firms
by each formal or informal support institutions

14. Business Development Service (BDS) analysis and issues identified
15. Analysis of Business Operations (AOBO): Analysis of each issue related to the cluster on the
aspects of skill(TIE-Skills & Knowledge to do the detailing), infrastructure(TIE-Skills &
Knowledge to do the detailing), quality, technology, marketing, finance, management
practices, and also working conditions, socio-environmental and gender; and each type of
principal firm. Each issue analysis must
(a) Describe the problem,
(b) Suggest remedial measure,
(c) Suggest who can do it,
(d) Suggest how fund can be mobilised to implement the solution (e.gthrough public
support schemes, CSR funds, stakeholders’ contribution, etc.)
