Seasons Lesson Plan

I have to focus on the hyper students during the circle area.
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
Focus on the hyper students and low levels students.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

 I started the lesson with the four seasons video song by using the data show to grape the children
attention.
Time: 15 min

 I showed them a box that contains anything that related to the seasons such as colours, leaves,
cotton, clothes and make them think what’s inside the box.
 After they guess what is inside the box, I pick up the students to answer.
Whole

 For example, this wood stick is orange, for which season it will be?
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

The students will cut the clothes pictures and stick it to the season picture that related with the clothes.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

They will match the seasons picture with its names with the wood sticks.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

Each student will get the tree paper.


They will stick the scrunching paper or the cotton depending on the name of the season.

 While the kids doing the activity I reminded them about the time and that they have Arabic class
15 min

for the next lesson, to make sure they are ready for the transition. Also, to make sure to finish all the
activities on time.
Closing

 I put the season’s song as a closing activity for the lesson with some movements to make them

hyper for the nest lesson.

Assessment

I observed their work while their working and know each student level and what he/she needs to improve.
