|Rationale

The HIV and AIDS cases in Davao City are now 2,307 as of Dec. 2017. Most of the cases
reported belong to the key population of male having sex with male (MSM), Transgender Women
(TGW) and the Young Key Population which we know that some of this KP, are in school, working or
even asleep during the regular testing schedule that we offer. So with this, we still have a large
number for KP that we need to Reach- Test- and know their results.

Study shows that most of those who know their HIV status are more likely responsible with
their sexual activities.

With this reality, we the Olympus Society of Davaohave established a Community Center to
Cater those target population, which are not available during office hours, school hours or even
those nocturnal KP. We offer HIV screening from Monday to Sunday (4pm-10pm).

Olympus Society of Davao, also partners with different organization to conduct HIV
screening, with private companies, schools, Brgy., massage parlors and beauty parlors, etc.

Last 2017, Olympus Society of Davao Screened more than 1000 KP and know their result,
among those clients, more than 50 reactive results and all are on treatment now.

The Olympus Society of Davao believes that, we know to target the Market because we are
the market.

-To increase the number of Screened MSM, TGW, and YKP.

- To Reach The Working Group of MSM, TGW and YKP.

-To Reach the Student and Young key Population.

Methodology
-We will reach the online community through Facebook, Grndr, and Planet Romeo, by Chatting,
online promotion of the community centre, Photo-shoot Campaigns, joining FB groups, Etc.

-We will also partner with the LGBT coalition of Davao City, and ask their support to endorse the
community centre to their members; in return we conduct free HIV education, SOGIE and LGBT
rights to their members.

-We also give free condoms and lubricants to all partner organizations of Olympus, like FPOP region
11, CADAC- City Anti-Drug Abuse Council, Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines, Amnesty
International Balangaw Dabaw, and to all the 63 Member organization of LGBT Davao.

-We are also going to continue with our “Operation Tukhang”, by visiting each Massage Parlors,
Beauty Parlors, Etc, and give them HIV education with Condoms and Lubricants.

|ExpectedOutput
-150 MSM, TGW and YKP educated, screened, and know their result.

-More KP knows their status and link to care as early as possible for early treatment.
